Full-Time BobaTender (28-32 Hours)

Overview:

We are seeking a Full-Time (32 hours) BobaTender to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and preparing delicious boba tea beverages, serving in the restaurant area, and cash management.

MUST BE OF LEGAL AGE (21+) TO PREPARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

Open availability preferred. Weekend availability required.

Duties:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of boba tea beverages to customers

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with ABC guidelines

  • Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boba station and work area

  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency in beverage preparation

  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering any questions or concerns

  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work.

  • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests

  • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations

  • Assist with boba preparation, as needed

  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly

  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

    Supervision:

  • Act as a point of contact for customer complaints or technical issues before escalating to Leads or Management

  • Serve as key holer and supervisor on-duty, ensuring the shop operates safely and professionally in the absence of the owner/alongside Leads

  • Handle end of day drawer counts and ensure that any cash tips or register discrepancies are documented according to policy

Skills:

  • Willingness to help team members and contribute to a positive work environment

  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to quickly learn new recipes and beverage preparation techniques

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, bartending, barista, and serving roles (preferred but not required)

  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

  • Able to regularly lift 50+ lbs

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service

  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions

  • Experience in the food industry, particularly in coffee or beverage service (preferred but not required)

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with customers effectively
